I was reading back through one of my journals last night when I came across a channel-writing session I did on 12/12 of 2018. When I read through it, it was amazing how fitting it felt for exactly what is going on in our world today.
Usually, when I do this type of trans work, I start with a topic or question in mind. That day, the topic was of there truly being no space or gap between us and divinity. That as humans, we ARE divine because heaven lives within each of us. When I started grounding myself that day, as I always do at the start of this type of session, my roots where a beautiful iridescent golden color that grew through and out of the Earth through me, sprouting golden leaves that blanketed the Earth in love. It was beautiful :).
From Spirit…
To discover your divinity, you must let go of trying to control this life and relinquish that power to me. This is not because I am all powerful/power hungry, or a tyrant, but because I, in my most simple and brilliant form, am love. And love IS light.
Controlling others is based in fear.
Controlling a situation is based in fear.
Controlling your words is based in fear.
Control, in a word, is binding. But it not only binds what you wish to control, it binds your heart at the same time. The more control you seek to impart over another, the further away you are to me and your innate divinity.
War, Judgement, Incarceration, Bigotry, Torture, Acts against Humanity, Hate
All of these things take you farther away from your inner life. These acts restrict you. They are based internally. They are things you project onto others in hopes of feeling lighter yourself. But unloading all of this negativity into the world and onto others only perpetuates more of the same, both externally and internally.
From me: How we/they begin to release fear/hate?
Spirit…
They cannot. By releasing it, it will only find a new home elsewhere. To truly dispel these thoughts/feelings, one must turn toward the light. One must embrace their own perfection and divinity. By seeing this in themselves, they will recognize this list in everything else.
Just like habits, hate must be REPLACED by something to truly lose its hold on a soul. It must be replaced with love for oneself.
From me: What can we/they do to take this step?
Spirit…
Re-write their narrative. Replace it with…
I am whole.
I have an abundance of love.
I am grateful for this life.
They must find something that brings them joy each day, no matter how big or small. They must nurture themselves as they would a beloved newborn child; new to this world, pure of heart, close to the veil between the worlds, attracts love, and tender. There is no question of the awe, amazement, and holiness of new life. This divinity never leaves you as you age, even though the brain takes over and plants doubt as the ego grows. The same light, the same love, the same golden divinity that was so close to the surface as a baby, is still within you and will always be.
I have never left you because I am you.
You are a divine creature whose potential in shining your light for the world knows no bounds.
The piece that struck me so much last night, reading this almost two years later, were the elements about control and fear. That to move forward, we have to REPLACE fear with love. That fear or hate cannot simply be released, but that it must be changed. That love and acceptance of others can only come by showing ourselves love first. There is an outcry and demand for change right now on so many levels in the world. Particularly, Black Americans are screaming to be heard, valued, recognized as fellow human souls, yet racism continues to permeate society. This systemic racism goes back to two words - control and fear.
We surely have a LOT of work ahead of us to create real change for our Black Lives when it comes to violence, government policy, and police brutality. The only way this change will be able to truly happen, is not by simply abolishing racism, but instead by embracing love for first ourselves and understanding our inherent value, so that we may also then replace that fear with love and light, that we will then see in others. It is about relinquishing the control that not only binds those you wish to control, but also yourself, taking you farther away from your inner light.
